Indian serials: Entertainment or A Noose 

It's human nature that the negative things take most of their attention and give them pleasure or idle satisfaction; most of the people take full pleasure but do nothing about resolving the fights. And the Indian serials cover the same thing. If we look at an average serial or drama the major section of it covers a feeling of sadness, or fighting scenes between the members of the family, efforts done by women in order to save her family, scenes of other women ruining the beautiful relation between family members. 

The main thing which is to understand here is that Indian drama acts as a mass media covering women of different age groups. It can be treated like brainwash of the uneducated females. It's an irony that we live in a era where women are advance in every field, but these serials just show the opposite of what is the reality. Now even if we consider that the starting point of the drama is about future advancement of women like "Barrister Babu" but it ends up in the same way like other shows. It's like the herd of different sheep going in the same direction.

And yes, I accept that there are a few good dramas out there, like the dramas which tell the biography of freedom fighters or serials about the crimes("Balika Vadhu" ,"Udaan", Crime Patrol"), but these are the only category of serials which can be considered ethical and unfortunately these are very few. But the negative ones are the most watched by the maximum number of people which changes the mindset.

Obviously, the development of human resource is the best way for a country to develop and women make half a part of it.So, instead of these shows what can be done here is to show the real life struggles of developed women, social issues faced by females, science fiction, documentaries can be created on cases in which family members die by silly superstitions.(For eg. Burari case),about bandit Queen 'Phoolan Devi', Bhopal gas tragedy and many more. Quality inspiration can be taken from the reality shows around the world other than Big Boss,jhalak dikla Jaa etc. Well, we have such documentaries but they are available only on high paid platforms like Netflix(available to some section of the society).It seems like a conspiracy(noose) is hatched about the poor rather than a way of entertainment.
